Drama
Program Overview
Welcome to the reedley high school drama department
Drama is a course where students can shine on stage and share their love of acting with friends and family. Our program begins with KC Showcase, an intense summer workshop, open to 3rd -12th graders. We also offer a school day drama class for students, where they learn the art of stagecraft, as well as the process behind acting. Our capstone event each year is a musical, which incorporates acting, singing, choreography, and costumes to create a production that is presented on stage in the spring each year. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming performances, and appreciate your continued support!

Spring Musical
The annual spring musical is an opportunity for students to showcase their talents for friends and family in an engaging and fun way! Students audition for parts in early January and enter into many weeks of rehearsals to bring a high quality production to the stage.
Students learn about their character, add emotional context and humanness to the script, practice the scenes they will be a part of, sing and choreograph the music, build the set pieces, and time the program to create a fun, engaging show for the audience.
