Certificated Substitute Teacher Information
Thank you for your interest in becoming a substitute teacher for the Kings Canyon Unified School District. Below we have provided links to all the information needed to start the hiring process.
Substitute Permit
If you hold a bachelors degree, apply for your permit here using the link below and order transcripts to be sent to gallegos-a@kcusd.com (No CBEST is required).
Fingerprint Clearance
You will need District and CTC fingerprint clearance.
Be sure to print your CTC live scan form before heading to your appointment.
Fingerprints will need to be scheduled BEFORE submitting your application. Come by the Educational Support Center to schedule the next available appointment.
