Title III and EL Master Plan
The Title III Plan describes how the district uses federal Title III funds to provide supplemental instructional support and services for English Learners and Immigrant students. The plan is based on an annual needs assessment and outlines targeted activities such as additional instructional resources, professional development for staff, and parent and family engagement. Title III services are designed to enhance the district’s core English Learner program and are aligned with district goals and the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
The EL Master Plan is an instructional guide, which is supported by the board, administration, staff, and community of Kings Canyon Joint Unified School District, and is meant to provide uniform standards for the implementation of quality instructional strategies and effective educational programs for all English learners. Information regarding district procedures and policies for the implementation of the English learner program are contained within the guide. This instructional guide enables the district to provide a cohesive program for all English learners.
