Dual Immersion Program
Applications for the 2024-2025 school year now available!
Application Window: December 4, 2023 - February 2, 2024
Applications will be available at the KCUSD Educational Support Center at 1801 10th Street, Reedley, CA 93654 (559) 305-7010, any KCUSD school site, and online. Applications are due to the Educational Support Center (ESC) at 1801 10th Street Reedley OR to Sheridan Elementary School office at 1001 9th Street, Orange Cove CA 93646, 559-305-7260 on or before February 2, 2024 at 4:00PM.
The design of the program will need to have a balanced number of English Speakers and native Spanish speakers learning together with the goal of biliteracy in English and Spanish by the time students exit the elementary school. Literacy and academic content will be taught in both languages. Language instruction will be integrated with challenging academic instruction.
