Flyer Approval Guidelines
Kings Canyon Unified School District is proud to support local businesses and non-profit organizations. We understand that flyers can be a useful tool for sharing information with KCUSD students and staff members. While we recognize the value of information sharing, we are unable to grant all requests for flyer dissemination. To protect the educational purpose of our schools, the KCUSD Governing Board has established guidelines for flyer approval (Board Policy 1325). All flyers must be approved by the Superintendent or designee prior to distribution.
As part of our efforts to be environmentally and fiscally responsible in addition to offering opportunities in an equitable fashion, KCUSD uses Peachjar for distributing flyers to parents and staff. Peachjar is an electronic flyer distribution service that delivers flyers to email inboxes and posts them on our website.
Peachjar charges a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost to print and distribute paper flyers to each school.
Free for Free Program
Peachjar offers community partners the opportunity to distribute one flyer for free every 30 days if the service being offered is at no cost to the student and/or family. Please contact Peachjar directly for more information about the free for free program.

To request flyer approval, follow the steps below.
- Register your account as a Community Organization on Peachjar.com
- Review Peachjar’s Guide for Community Organizations for information about discount pricing, flyer creation tips, and more
- Go to ‘Post & Notify’ in your account to submit a flyer
After you hit submit, your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district for approval. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to families and posted on each school’s web flyerboard for your selected duration of time.
